Week 14

Hey everybody,
It's almost Christmas!!!!
I hope you are all ready, becuse I am. I made about 4 dozen choc chip cookies, we are going to give them to some people here in the ward. Also, we are going to be teaching some great Christmas lessons this week about the Nativity story.
There hasn't been anything too extaordinary that happened this week. We had some good lessons, but mostly, we are excited for Christmas to come. We continued our new tradition of Burrito wednesdays. Which we will continue on both christmas and New Years.
I got some interesting Pictures this week, hope you like them. First is all my cookie supplies I bought, second an interesting sign in front of somebodys house by their garden, and third is Elder Scott and I celebrating Burrito Wednesday after our nightly planning session.

I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful season to focus on the Savior, His Birth, His Life, His Example, His Death, and His LOVE! Remember Him always.
On Sunday we had a really good lesson about Service. We were asked to think of one talent that we have. I said, I love making cookies.
Then we were asked how we could use that talent, for it's real purpose, which is to bless the lives of those around us. Perhaps your talent is singing, cooking, drawing, smiling, talking, or anything else. Remember that this talent is a Gift from God. Now, think of how you can use your talent to serve other people and help them to feel Christs love for them. Now go out and share your talents, our of selfless service and love.
17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellowbeings ye are only in the service of your God.

Go out and serve the Lord this Christmas!
Love Elder Wilson
