Week 2

This week has been so good. I can feel the love. I had this incredible experience, it was simulated, but felt so real. I was speaking to a man with cancer, and my topic to teach him was the apostasy, Somehow I got this incredible lesson out in spanish about how no matter what, we all have to experience trials and hardship to fully appreciate the joy and pure love Christ has for us. The apostasy was our worldwide trial, the human family had to experience darkness, confusion, chaos, and fear. So that one boy would ask in faith, Father, which of these churches should I join? This entire worldwide trial led to one ultimate experience, one of pure joy, the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Family, I know that through our trials, we come closer to the Father, and we learn to ask in Faith, Father, what should I do? and he will answer you, he will send, comfort and peace.
I spent the week, learning Spanish, teaching simulated investigators, teaching members, eating food, and studying the scriptures.  My biggest struggle with spanish is I know what I want to say, always, but I don't know how to say it in spanish, so I get frustrated. But my understanding, is unbeleivablely good, I can listen to a fluent speaker and catch all but a handful of words and understand almost perfectly. The gift of tounges is real.
I will try to upload all my pictures, we'll see how well that goes.
Sundays here are my favorite, they are so relaxed and calm. Also today I will be spending my whole Pday riding trax to Salt Lake to meet with the Mexican Consulate. So stay out of downtown Salt Lake if you don't want to see me walking around. :D I miss you family, and no matter what, I'm staying here until the Lord's work is finished.
If there's anything I am forgetting, please let me know and I will try to update you guys next Thursday.
Love you all, miss you all, God be with you all until we meet again
